All of us at New England Tank Services, Inc. take great pride in our job.  We will always take the extra step to make sure our customers are happy with our work.  This is what helps make our reputation what it is today.  We have many references upon request that we can offer to you.  The most common phrase that you'll probably hear about us, " what a great bunch of guys, and they really do a nice job."  As the president of the company it really makes me feel good to hear the compliments that we get from our customers.  Especially since I built this business from the ground up.  I had been in the civil engineering field for a while, but became bored with the type of work I was doing.  So I decided to go out on my own, and became a certified home inspector.  After doing inspections for quite some time, the environmental residential and commercial tank issues started to become more evident.  Not knowing to much about these issues since people were still installing tanks in the ground for years, I decided to contact the EPA and start at the top.  After receiving information from the EPA, they told me to contact the state governing agencies.  Since I was mainly working in the state of N.Y. and CT., I contacted the appropriate agencies in each state.  Then I ended up back in school for environmental studies, and lots of DEC/DEP required training.  Such courses include:  sampling for hazardous materials, remediation standards regulations, groundwater investigations, and OSHA required courses including hazardous materials/site investigations.  We are also certified by the International Conference of Building Officials for underground storage tank decommissioning.  All of our workers have also met the required 40 hour OSHA hazardous materials, site investigation, and confined space entry programs.  Most of this training is required to be updated each year by each employee which is a rule we definitely live by.  For our safety, and most of all for yours.  It's our responsibility to keep your job site safe and environmentally clean.  We also carry the required permits for each state in order to haul hazardous and nonhazardous wastes.  As you can see it takes a lot of training, time, and money that we spend each year trying to clean up our environment.  We are also CT. licensed DEP contractors.  Our license number is RUSTCONID185.  Look us up on the CT. DEP website.  Let us help you with any of your environmental needs.  Please call or e-mail us with any questions.
